From Concept to Market:
How We Work With Pet Brands
Minardi Pets is a China-based OEM/ODM pet product development and production partner. We coordinate projects through a selected production network, supporting material sourcing, sampling, customization, production follow-up, quality checks, packaging and export.

Project Feedback
Independent Pet Brand - UK
From the first sample to final production, the communication was clear and the product quality remained consistent.
"Behind Every Good Product Is a Process"
For us, product development and production coordination are about understanding what each product needs to achieve in its target market.
That means asking the right questions early, testing samples carefully, and helping manage repeatability and consistency against the approved specifications.
Some projects start with a simple idea. Our role is to help turn that idea into a product specification suitable for sampling and production coordination.
From Idea to Delivery: Our Workflow
Every project is slightly different, but most pet product developments follow a similar path from concept to finished product.
Design
Turning ideas into workable concepts
- We begin by understanding your product idea, target market and expected price level.
- If you have tech packs, sketches or reference products, we review them together and discuss materials, construction and practical production details.
- For new concepts, we can also help suggest adjustments that improve durability or simplify manufacturing.
Pattern Making
Creating accurate patterns for development
- Before sampling begins, patterns are prepared based on the product structure and measurements.
- This step helps verify the shape, proportions and construction details before moving into sewing and assembly.
- Good pattern work is essential for consistency in later production.
Sampling
Testing materials, structure and usability
- At the sampling stage, we coordinate the first working sample through our selected production network.
- We evaluate important factors such as stitching strength, hardware selection, comfort, and overall product structure.
- It is normal to go through a few small adjustments before the final sample is approved.
Production
Moving from sample to stable manufacturing
- Once the sample is approved, we confirm materials, specifications, packaging and production timelines.
- During production, we coordinate production follow-up and key quality checks against the approved sample and specifications.
- Our goal is repeatable production — not just a good first batch.
Packing
Final inspection and packaging preparation
- Before shipment, products are inspected and packed according to the agreed packaging requirements.
- This may include retail packaging, private label tags, barcode labels or carton packing based on your distribution needs.
Delivery
Shipping products to your market
- Once packing is completed, products are prepared for shipment.
- Depending on the project and destination, we can help coordinate logistics options such as FOB, DDU or DDP.
- This stage can also be used to plan future reorders or product improvements.
